September 2025
As we approach the one-year anniversary of Hurricane Helene, we reflect on both the challenges of the past year and the many blessings that have followed in its wake. When we closed our doors in preparation for the storm, we never imagined it would be more than two months before we could welcome students back into our building. Across our region, the effects of Helene are still visible—repairs to homes, bridges, roads, and communities continue. Yet in the midst of loss and rebuilding, our community has shown extraordinary resilience. Each day, we see what it means to come together with strength, compassion, and determination. As a school, we are deeply grateful to all who supported us in countless ways, making it possible to open our doors once again for a new school year. We are proud to say: We are BlackMountainStrong. We are resilient. We are grateful.
Parent Tours continue this fall for both families looking for current or mid-year placement (we have a few spaces remaining) as well as for prospective families considering placement for the 26/27 school year. Scroll down to schedule a tour.
Admissions for the 26/27 school year will begin in February 2026. Check back for the release of the new student application.
